After more than 18 months of composition and recording, Brooklyn-based and outer-spaced musical duo Chairlift return with a new album called ‘Something’, their dense and deftly-driven sophomore episode.
The album is the follow up to their 2008 Kanine Records debut ‘Does You Inspire You’. Composed in the back room of a rented New York antiques store, it was recorded at the London studio of its producer Dan Carey (The Kills, Hot Chip, La Roux).
‘Something’ comprises eleven tracks, including the recently premiered ‘Sidewalk Safari’ and ‘Amanaemonesia’, which was released on 7-inch in the US only on Chris Taylor’s (Grizzly Bear) label Terrible Records in August.

"something simultaneously sinister... and completely beautiful" - The Guardian
